Ophion

Background Information: First Colossal discovered in 2005 after it attacked a fishing vessel. Crew reported that a giant serpent arose from the sea to crush the boat. A rescue fleet sent out to discover the truth encountered the creature and documented its attack and subsequent defeat at the hands of the navy. Although injured the creature managed to retreat to the ocean depths and has since been known to attack vessels that get too close. It is currently under surveillance and a 10 mile radius is in effect around the creature to prevent further casualties.

Named after Ophion, the snake from Greek Mythology that incubated the Primordial Egg from which all created things were born.

Abilities: Swim speed 50 knots. Strong bite. Scales resistant to conventional weaponry. Crushes prey similar to constrictor snakes.
