Background Information: Discovered in 2014 during an expedition into the tropical forests of the Hainan Province in China. Xiao is considered by locals as the protector of the forest and shows a usually unseen care towards human and the creatures of the forest. Due to it's gentle nature researchers have had no difficulty in documenting the creatures habits and abilities.

Named after Xiao, a "long-armed ape" from Chinese Mythology.
