Hiatus x Hiatus Presentation

I recently did a presentation on the shōnen manga series Hunter x Hunter where I talked about the hiatuses that the series has been on.

I looked at the artist behind the series, Yoshihiro Togashi, and the problems that he's had during serialisation of Hunter x Hunter in Weekly Shōnen Jump that have lead to extended hiatus....

......as well as other artists who have suffered similar health problems such as the mangaka behind Bleach, Tite Kubo.

I also looked at Fan Entitlement and whether it is right for the fans to complain about a creators work if said creator is experiencing problems both mentally and physically.

I really enjoyed researching and presenting this presentation as the manga series is very close to my heart, and I have a great respect for Togashi and others like him who pushed through their problems to produce such fantastic stories. I wanted to draw attention to the struggles that people in the industry can face and how we should appreciate the effort that they put into their work.
